What Does Full Disclosure Mean?
You’ll probably notice me using the term “Full Disclosure” from time to time, as I did set up my blog to allow for advertisements and income. Blogging is my part time job that I can do from home, and I LOVE it!
But earning income is NOT the primary focus of Gwen’s Nest. Which is why it’s important to me to be open and honest about what areas of my blog are income earning. I want you to know, and feel secure in the fact that I’m not trying to horn-swoggle people, and I will never promote a product on my blog posts that I don’t feel really confident about using myself. In other words, I don’t want you to feel “tricked” by any affiliate links I post.
What is an Affiliate Link?
Sometimes on posts, you’ll find a link to an item that I use and recommend. Affiliate links have a special code to track who clicks through from my blog. If you choose to use my affiliate links, you’ll get the items for the *exact* same price you’d normally pay from that retailer, and my blog will earn a small commission. It’s a win-win!
If you’d like to send me a virtual thank you, shop through my affiliate links, or read the extra long legalese full disclosure for the different ways that my blog earns income, you can read that here.
