As soon as the weather warms up, and before the grass needs to be cut is my very favorite time of year. It’s the tiny flower days. Before bugs come out, and pollen starts to rain down. It’s the perfect time for an adventure.
So we went out to picnic on this fine day in the season of tiny flowers.
When I was a little girl, I’d pick these tiny blue and white flowers, and put them in little vases in my doll house. I’ve always had a thing for miniatures.
The girls were immediately drawn to a large patch of flowers…
Violas. My favorite.
We soaked in the fresh air, the sunlight, and the beauty. And our time with one another. My girls have adorable identical noses.
The boys were very busy conquering the terrain on their bikes.
It’s serious work being a Viking. There is just SO much to be done in a day.
Especially when you’ve gotta keep up with a big bro.
Even the boys eventually get drawn into the grass with us…
and find some beauty to share.

Some of us are more selective than others.
He’s a quantity picker. ♥
And off they go again…
in search of more adventures.
