Plantain: Herbal Notebook Page

May 30, 2010 By Gwen Brown Leave a Comment

Herbal Notebook Page: Plantain printable pdf.

Here is a handy dandy page all about plantain including its uses, actions, and history of use.  Feel free to add your own notes as you experiment with this herb.

You can click here if you’ve missed my other posts on identifying and using plantain herb.

If you’re interested in natural remedies, and learning about using herbs, I recommend making a notebook with herb facts and research so that it’s at your fingertips when you need it.

I like to jot down the date, injury, remedy/method, and outcome just so I can look back and remember exactly how I treated things and how it all turned out.  Hope you enjoy!

Plantain herb grows really large in wet marshy areas.

It’s so much fun for me and my kids to learn about an herb.  I love to know the history of its use, and then we try to find it locally and  learn to use it.  Plantain is one of the best first herbs to get to know, as it’s useful for everyday boo-boos, as well as emergencies.

When minor emergencies happen here, I get an adrenaline rush and can’t recall any of the things I ‘know’.  My herbal notebook is something that I can access quickly, with all of the information I need organized by topic.  I’ll post more about this later if you guys would like to see inside my herbal notebook.  What natural remedy would you like to explore next?
