Trim Healthy Tuesday Linked Posts Guidelines
- Accepted post topics will be: Trim Healthy Mama related recipes, kitchen tips, weekly menu, ‘how to’ articles, or exercise tips, and MODEST before and after photos may be attached to any of the above. Please do not link personal progress reports or non-THM recipes.
- You may post links from YOUR blog to recipes that are Trim Healthy Mama friendly. They can be S (satisfying), E (energizing), FP (Fuel Pull), or Crossovers. Please note which of these categories your recipe falls under. Nutrition information for your recipe is helpful, but not mandatory.
- Please respect the copyright of the book, and do not post recipes from the Trim Healthy Mama book on your blog. You MAY post recipes that you’ve changed up to make your own, but nothing verbatim from the book.
- Please link your post back to one of the hosting blogs above: Gwen’s Nest or Stacy Makes Cents. Your link will show up on both blogs! DO NOT LINK TO THE HOMEPAGE – instead link directly to this Trim Healthy Tuesday post: https://gwens-nest.com/?p=2715
- Please post no more than 3 links each week.
- Post new links from your blog each week – do not post the same link each week.
- You may include recipes with “Splenda” and other similar products or foods that are considered “compromise foods”, but please note that in the recipe, and either make them optional or offer substitutions for on plan items if possible. Please do not use ingredients that are off plan…like white potatoes.
- No giveaways or advertising-only type posts are allowed. You may post about cookbooks that you like and you may include affiliate links, but the post MUST be THM friendly. Example – posting about an eCookbook that you like is acceptable when telling how it can help with THM. Posting about a cookbook just so you can sell it is NOT acceptable.
- Any post that does not meet the guidelines outlined above will be considered Spam and will be deleted.
- Though it’s not required, it would be polite if you would link directly to the Trim Healthy Mama website in each of your posts – they’ve done so much to help us all, and we’d like to increase their traffic. www.trimhealthymama.com
- For help with determining where your recipes fall, visit Gwen’s THM Quick Start Guide.

I know this is about taco seasoning…but the blue mason jar just drowned out the entire post. Or maybe that was just for me.

Thanks for selecting my “Smoked Salmon, Dill Cream Cheese & Sliced Onions on Onion Bread in a Mug [S]” to feature! I have nothing prepared to share this week – hopefully next week I’ll have two!

From where do you buy your flour tortillas?

I stumbled across smoked paprika not too long ago. It’s amazing, isn’t it?!? We even more recently discovered smoked chipotle chili powder. Oh my!
Thanks for posting this recipe. (Yes, I know it’s been here a while, but I just tried it this week. My family really liked it!)

So glad you enjoyed it! I love blogging, but I wanted to set my blog up more like a website where it’s easier to find recipes and stuff. So you can browse through anytime by S/E/FP or even my meal with the Recipe drop down menus. 🙂
LOVE smoked spices! My man loves the chipolte, but it’s too spicy for my littles right now. I should add the chipolte to his bowl!

Thanks for having your blog so organized! You spoil us THMers! I’m on your site all the time.

Just finally made the single meal recipe tonight. All 6 of us enjoyed it, and that’s saying a lot. (I didn’t have the smoked paprika or use the crushed red pepper.)
Thank you! 🙂 I see a bulk recipe in our future.
Its_Gwen says
Oh, so happy! The smoked paprika is just amazing…you have to give it a try one day!
kerry says
where can you find smoked paprika? I can only find regular..
I’m going to try this recipe tonight and if its a hit make up a batch. I also have a Fagita seasoning spice recipe we love and its so much cheaper than the packages I’ve been buying for years!!
Its_Gwen says
I’ve found it online (Frontier has it in bulk) and at local stores…but it’s WAY cheaper online. 🙂
I made it for years without smoked paprika, but we really love it with that added smokey taste.

Where do you find your minced garlic? Is it the same thing as using Instant Chopped Onions I buy in the spice section at my local grocery store? I made your chili seasoning last night and it was a hit!!
Gwen Brown says
I buy it from a Farmer’s Market that has an impressive bulk spice aisle. 🙂 If you have trouble finding it, you can get minced dried organic garlic with Amazon prime (affiliate link)
